I just followed your advice, and deleted all those folders as well when uninstalling. On firefox I get the message (repeatedly) that the flash plugin may have stopped responding or be busy - the browser is frozen, and then whatever was using. So, I went back and this time did everything they had on their list which included deleting stuff (after completing the uninstall) and then installed the new Flash and have had no issues since.also, note that I get my Flash progs. my Firefox and IE Flash related vids always crashed. Search: Google Chrome Keeps Crashing Windows 10. So, a few months ago I downloaded a new Flash version, used their uninstaller program and installed their latest Flash. Crash as in the entire browser becomes unresponsive and must force-close. ![]() "but", I did not always complete that uninstalling list which includes removing some files. Hmm, Google Chrome already handles plugins this way, but one flash-heavy site I know delivers a lot of streaming video and absolutely will crash either Firefox or Chrome in linux (I use Mint, mainly) without fail, if given enough time, Gnome or KDE. that is, where they state to use their Flash uninstaller prior to updating to a new version. I've always followed Adobe's procedure for updating Flash. ![]()
